Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Aged 18–59 years with ASA physical status ?–?. 2.Scheduled for laparoscopic cholecystectomy or appendectomy under general anesthesia. 3.Normal hepatic and renal function; ALT, AST, Cr and BUN within normal reference ranges. 4.Participants in the high-altitude group live at an altitude =3500 m with high-altitude exposure duration >= 1 month. 5.All participants and their family members provide informed consent and sign the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Allergy to drugs used in this study. 2.Shock, anemia (Hb200 g/L). 3.Hypermetabolic states such as fever and hyperthyroidism. 4.Use of drugs affecting drug metabolism within one week before surgery, including liver enzyme inducers or inhibitors such as phenobarbital and ketoconazole. 5.History of mental illness or drug abuse, or inability to cooperate with depth of anesthesia assessment. 6.Any other conditions interfering with propofol metabolism.
