Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with metabolic syndrome: (1) Age: 30-50 years. (2) Gender: both males and females. (3) Clinically diagnosed with metabolic syndrome, with at least 3 abnormalities among the following 5 criteria: 1) Waist circumference >=90 cm for males, >=80 cm for females. 2) Triglycerides (TG) >=150 mg/dL (1.7 mmol/L). 3) High-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-c) =130 mmHg and/or diastolic blood pressure >=85 mmHg. 5) Fasting blood glucose (FBG) >=100 mg/dL (5.6 mmol/L). (4) Stable body weight (weight change <10%) for 3 months before the study. (5) If participants are taking antihyperglycemic, antihypertensive, lipid-lowering, or cardiovascular drugs, dose adjustments are not permitted during the intervention period. (6) No eating disorders. (7) No severe psychiatric or mental illnesses. (8) No history of traumatic brain injury, family history of psychiatric disorders, or any history of mental illness. 2. Healthy control group: (1) No metabolic syndrome. (2) No history of traumatic brain injury, family history of psychiatric disorders, or any history of mental illness.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnancy or lactation. 2. Night shift workers. 3. There is a history of major diseases or related diseases in the past, such as inflammatory diseases, rheumatic immune diseases, adrenal diseases, malignant tumors, type 1 diabetes, liver cirrhosis, chronic kidney disease, acquired immune deficiency syndrome, eating disorders, mental disorders and adverse cardiovascular events. 4. Currently participating in other weight management programs, currently following a prescribed diet due to a special illness or in the process of taking on it Be affected by any medication that may affect appetite. 5. Have a history of bariatric surgery.
