Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. CRAO group: (1) Patients must have had a recent onset of symptoms (within one month) at the time of visit, be aged >=18 years, with no gender restriction, and have a primary diagnosis of Central Retinal Artery Occlusion (CRAO), defined as sudden, painless monocular vision loss, with fundus examination revealing retinal edema, a cherry-red spot in the fovea, segmental sluggish blood flow in the retinal arteries, or retinal artery emboli; (2) A clear medical history is available, allowing for the calculation of a precise date of onset based on the time of visit and the course of the disease; 2. BRAO group: (1) Patients must have had a recent onset of symptoms (within one month) at the time of visit, be aged >=18 years, with no gender restriction, and have a primary diagnosis of Branch Retinal Artery Occlusion (BRAO), defined as varying degrees of monocular vision loss, narrowing of the affected artery, associated retinal edema in the corresponding area, hyperreflectivity of the inner retina in the corresponding quadrant on OCT, and delayed filling of the affected retinal branch artery on FFA; (2) A clear medical history is available, allowing for the calculation of a precise date of onset based on the time of visit and the course of the disease;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. CRAO group: (1) Patients with unclear medical history, ambiguous onset history, or an onset time of >=1 month, for whom the date of onset cannot be determined from the available medical records; (2) Unavailability of residential address information; (3) Concomitant poorly controlled fundus diseases, such as proliferative diabetic retinopathy, vitreous hemorrhage, retinal detachment, etc.; (4) Patients with opacities in the refractive media or inability to cooperate with fundus examination; (5) IOP >25 mmHg, or a history of glaucoma; (6) Patients who have undergone ocular surgeries other than cataract surgery, such as vitrectomy, antiglaucoma surgery, etc.; (7) Any other condition deemed by the investigator to warrant exclusion; 2. BRAO group: (1) Patients with unclear medical history, ambiguous onset history, or an onset time of >=1 month, for whom the date of onset cannot be determined from the available medical records; (2) Unavailability of residential address information; (3) Concomitant poorly controlled fundus diseases, such as proliferative diabetic retinopathy, vitreous hemorrhage, retinal detachment, etc.; (4) Patients with opacities in the refractive media or inability to cooperate with fundus examination; (5) IOP >25 mmHg, or a history of glaucoma; (6) Patients who have undergone ocular surgeries other than cataract surgery, such as vitrectomy, antiglaucoma surgery, etc.; (7) Any other condition deemed by the investigator to warrant exclusion;
