Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 18 to 75 years, with good general physical condition, good compliance, and ability to complete the entire course of treatment and long-term follow-up; 2. Affected teeth diagnosed with combined periodontal-endodontic lesions via clinical examination and dental imaging examination; 3. The affected teeth present clear signs including alveolar bone resorption, periodontal pocket formation, and pulp inflammation/necrosis, and meet the indications for preservation treatment; 4. The patient provides informed consent, voluntarily participates in this clinical study, and signs the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Teeth with no preservation value, grade III or higher mobility, requiring direct extraction; 2. Patients complicated with severe systemic diseases: uncontrolled hypertension, diabetes, hematological diseases, autoimmune diseases, severe liver and kidney diseases, etc.; 3. Patients who have received periodontal surgery, apical surgery, orthodontic treatment, or extensive dental restoration treatment within the past 3 months; 4. Patients taking long-term hormones, immunosuppressants, or medications that interfere with periodontal healing; 5. Heavy smokers who are unable to comply with oral hygiene maintenance; 6. Pregnant or breastfeeding women, as well as patients with mental disorders who cannot cooperate with treatment and follow-up visits; 7. Patients with untreated occlusal trauma, bruxism, or unremoved defective restorations; 8. Teeth with repeated failed root canal treatments and extensive apical cysts/abscesses that are difficult to heal; 9. Patients with incomplete clinical data or those living in remote areas who cannot complete regular follow-up visits at 3 months, 6 months, 1 year and 2 years.
