Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 18 years or older. 2. Free of ocular diseases (for the healthy control group) or meeting the diagnostic criteria for dry eye disease or uveitis. 3. Willing and able to comply with the protocol requirements and complete all scheduled visits, assessments, and procedures.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnancy, lactation, or planning to become pregnant during the study period. 2. History of ocular surgery within 6 months prior to screening. 3. Aged under 18 years; the pediatric population is not included. 4. Use of any ophthalmic preparations or wearing of contact lenses within 2 hours prior to sample collection. 5. Receiving systemic anti-inflammatory or systemic antibiotic therapy. 6. Ocular or periocular malignant tumors, uncontrolled glaucoma, or other severe ocular diseases. 7. Anatomical abnormalities of the eyelid (e.g., lagophthalmos, entropion, or ectropion).
