Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.A group: informed consent was obtained from the children and their legal guardians. 2.A group: the age should be between 4 years and 16 years (inclusive). Gender not specified. 3.A group: the patient was treated at the Children's Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine, meeting the international diagnostic criteria for inflammatory bowel disease and had no risk of complications, with complete clinical and imaging data, and required treatment such as medication or nutrition support. 4.B group: informed consent was obtained from all subjects and their legal guardians. 5.B group: the age should be between 4 years and 16 years (inclusive). Gender not specified. 6.B group: all patients were admitted to the Stomatology Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine without gastrointestinal symptoms or history of gastrointestinal diseases.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.A group: antibiotics were administered 8 weeks before sampling. 2.A group: chronic infection with HIV, HBV, or HCV. 3.A group: has received cytotoxic chemotherapy. 4.B group: antibiotics were administered 8 weeks before sampling. 5.B group: chronic infection with HIV, HBV, or HCV. 6.B group: has received cytotoxic chemotherapy. 7.B group: participation in other clinical trials that may have influenced the findings. 8.B group: patients with obvious gastrointestinal symptoms or a history of gastrointestinal diseases.
