Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Live-born neonates or infants under 5 years old who have been clearly diagnosed with congenital cleft lip and palate by clinicians; 2. The mothers of the children are informed of the research and have given their consent to participate.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosed with syndromic cleft lip and palate (e.g., associated with Van der Woude syndrome, etc.), because these cases usually have a clear monogenic genetic background that may interfere with the analysis of multifactorial causes; 2. Mothers with severe mental illness or communication disorders who are unable to complete the questionnaire; 3. Children who are adopted or whose maternal information is incomplete.
