Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age: 18 - 40 years old; 2. Meets the diagnostic criteria for emotional disorders (depression disorders, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, etc.) as per the 10th revision of the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (ICD-10) or the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5); the score of the 7-item Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale (GAD-7) is greater than 4; the score of the Depression Symptom Cluster Scale (PHQ-9) of the participant is greater than 4; 3. The score of the Emotional Regulation Difficulties Scale (DERS) is >= 102 points (i.e., higher than the average of the Chinese norm sample plus 1 standard deviation); 4. Have a junior high school education or above; 5. Native Chinese speaker; 6. Have sufficient visual and auditory skills to complete the survey, assessment and trial tasks; 7. Sign the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Suffering from severe or unstable physical diseases (such as heart failure, myocardial infarction, malignant tumors, neurological disorders, etc.), having a history of epilepsy or brain trauma in the past; 2. Having a high risk of suicide, with a moderate or higher level of suicide risk assessment in the B section of the Mini-International Neuropsychiatric Interview (MINI); 3. Undergoing clinical assessment and having severe cognitive dysfunction, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, bipolar disorder with manic episodes, or severe substance use disorders; 4. Unable to understand the questionnaire content or unable to complete the treatment, and unable to wear electroencephalogram electrodes; 5. Excluding left-handedness and history of neurological diseases; 6. Having received psychological therapy or physical therapy within the past 3 months, or currently undergoing psychological counseling; 7. Having an unstable dosage of psychotropic drugs (with dosage adjustments within the past 4 weeks), or taking drugs that affect neural excitability.
