Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.functional anterior crossbite; 2.Complete clinical data were available, and 1-year follow-up could be conducted after treatment completion. 3.No other orthodontic appliances were used before and during treatment. 4.Agreed with the treatment plan and showed good compliance. 5.No obvious skeletal deformity; no temporomandibular joint symptoms; 6.Aged from 8 to 14 years old;
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Present with obvious skeletal deformity; 2.Had a history of previous orthodontic treatment; 3.Poor compliance and failed to wear the appliance as instructed; 4.Complicated with systemic diseases such as respiratory and endocrine disorders; 5.Having temporomandibular joint diseases or related symptoms; 6.Suffer from cleft lip and palate or other diseases affecting craniofacial development;
