Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adults over 18 years old who are in good health and have type 2 diabetes (glycated protein > 6.5); 2. Missing one or more teeth that require implant restoration; 3. The bone volume in the position of missing tooth is sufficient and no xenogeneic bone grafting surgery has been performed.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. There is severe acute and chronic inflammation at the implant site; 2. The mesiodistal width of the implant site is insufficient; 3. Individuals with bad oral habits such as excessive daily smoking (>10 cigarettes/day), nocturnal bruxism, periodontal disease, etc.; 4. Pregnant or lactating women; 5. Those with poor overall health and unable to withstand surgical procedures; 6. Patients undergoing orthodontic treatment; 7. Individuals taking drugs that affect bone metabolism.
