Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age = 6 months) 4. Individuals willing to undertake and able to complete the exercise programme

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, gestational diabetes or another specific type of diabetes 2. Presenting with severe diabetic complications, such as proliferative retinopathy, severe diabetic nephropathy (estimated glomerular filtration rate [eGFR] below 60 ml/min/1.73 m²) or diabetic foot 3. Suffering from severe cardiovascular or cerebrovascular disease, including unstable angina, myocardial infarction or stroke within the past six months, or heart failure with an NYHA functional class of II or higher 4. Suffering from other severe systemic diseases such as cancer or hepatic or renal insufficiency, or having a mental health condition 5. Having a musculoskeletal impairment that prevents completion of the prescribed exercise programme
