Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Ages 3-18, visiting the optometry/pediatric ophthalmology clinic; 2. After any eye dilation, the objective computerized refraction equivalent spherical power (SE) is <= 0.75D (i.e., nearsighted or emmetropic, excluding farsightedness over 75 degrees); 3. Expected to be able to complete at least 12 months of follow-up (check-ups every 6 months); 4. Able to understand and cooperate with the relevant eye exams and questionnaire completion; 5. Guardian (and children over 8) voluntarily sign the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Age is under 3 or over 18; 2. Either eye has an equivalent spherical degree (SE) over 0.75D after dilation (meaning obvious farsightedness); 3. Currently taking part in other clinical studies related to myopia intervention (which might interfere with results); 4. Can't cooperate with the required follow-up exams due to physical or mental reasons.
