Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 8–18 years; 2. Diagnosed with pectus excavatum and scheduled for elective Nuss surgery; 3. ASA physical status classification I–II; 4. Possess basic Chinese listening, speaking, reading and comprehension ability; 5. Able to complete the self-report PedSQoR-C independently or with non-suggestive instructions provided by researchers; 6. The child agrees to participate in the study; 7. The guardian signs the informed consent form, and the child signs informed consent or assent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. ASA physical status classification III or above, or accompanied by severe dysfunction of vital organs including the heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, etc; 2. Combined with neuromuscular diseases, developmental delay, cognitive impairment, autism spectrum disorders, severe anxiety and depressive disorders, or other psychiatric and psychological disorders that affect questionnaire understanding and completion; 3. Long-term previous use of opioids, sedative-hypnotics or psychotropic medications; 4. Emergency surgery or concurrent other major operations; 5. Non-native Chinese speakers; 6. Unable to understand scale contents or unable to cooperate with postoperative follow-up; 7. Participating in other interventional clinical trials that may affect the evaluation of postoperative recovery; 8. Subjects judged by researchers to be inappropriate for enrollment.
