Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Color Doppler ultrasound examination of the cervical vessels (including the carotid artery and vertebral artery) or CTA examination of the cervical vessels were received at the physical examination center and outpatient department of our hospital, and the imaging reports were clear and interpretable. 2.Serum biochemical tests, including serum uric acid (UA) measurement, were completed at our hospital within one month before and after the imaging examination. 3.Have complete demographic data (such as age, gender, etc.); 4. Age >= 45 years old, gender is not limited.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients who have previously been diagnosed with moderate to severe carotid artery stenosis and have undergone vascular surgical interventions such as carotid endarterectomy (CEA) or carotid artery stenting (CAS). 2.Those with severe liver or kidney failure (which may significantly affect uric acid levels), autoimmune diseases, malignant tumors or extremely short life expectancy; 3.Missing key data: Any clinical records missing any of the fields essential to the core analysis of this study (serum uric acid levels, blood pressure measurements, lipid indicators, or descriptions of carotid artery stenosis) will be excluded directly. 4.Individuals with severe mental disorders that result in significantly unreliable data.
