Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age: 18-35 years old, menstrual cycle length: 21-35 days. 2. Participation in team ball sports with a certificate of level 2 or higher. 3. No use of hormonal contraceptives in the past 6 months. 4. No recent history of injuries or any cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, or gastrointestinal conditions. 5. Signature of an informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Irregular menstrual cycle (variation > 7 days). 2. Diagnosis of gynecological conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and endometriosis. 3. Pregnancy or lactation. 4. Smoking or excessive alcohol consumption. 5. History of allergy or intolerance to sodium bicarbonate.
