Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 18 years old, gender not restricted; 2. Meet the diagnostic criteria of ICUAW: the total score of muscle strength according to the Medical Research Council (MRC) is less than 48 points; 3. Mechanical ventilation time >= 48 hours, ICU hospitalization time >= 48 hours; 4. Vital signs are relatively stable: heart rate 60-120 beats per minute, systolic blood pressure 90-160 mmHg, diastolic blood pressure 60-100 mmHg, blood oxygen saturation >= 92%, and able to tolerate bedside rehabilitation training; 5. There are no obvious injuries, deformities, or skin damages in the upper limbs that affect rehabilitation training; 6. The subject or their legal representative (if unable to express themselves due to consciousness disorder) signs the written informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. There are acute injuries in the upper limbs such as fractures, tendon ruptures, joint dislocations, or non-healed fractures, severe osteoporosis, or joint contractures and deformities; 2. Amputation of the upper limbs, severe muscle tone abnormalities (such as spastic cerebral palsy, severe muscle tone increase), acute stage of deep vein thrombosis (= 5) lasting >= 72 hours, coma, severe dementia; 5. Expected survival time < 48 hours, or actively requesting to abandon treatment; 6. Suffering from primary neuromuscular diseases such as Guillain-Barré syndrome, muscular dystrophy; 7. Complicated with local infection, cellulitis, or severe pressure ulcers in the upper limbs; 8. Participated in other rehabilitation robot-related research within 3 months, or had situations that could not cooperate with the assessment of this study.
