Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.In the second trimester (14-27+6 weeks), ultrasound detection of singleton pregnancies with a cervix length of less than 25 mm; 2.There were no symptoms of threatened miscarriage or preterm birth prior to sampling; 3.Symptoms include intermittent lower abdominal pain, occasional lower abdominal distention, occasional abdominal tightness, and slight vaginal bleeding; 4.Patients undergoing mid-pregnancy cervical ultrasound examination at the Tongji Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology; 5.Healthy pregnant women without any complications or comorbidities; 6.Signatory of the informed consent form;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Use of antibiotics, progesterone, immunosuppressants one month prior to sampling; 2.Vaginal douching or medication within 48 hours; 3.Infection with diseases such as hepatitis C virus, genital warts, HIV, etc; 4.History of immune diseases, history of pre-pregnancy diabetes; 5.Symptoms of infection, such as fever or diarrhea, within a week prior to sampling; 6.Chorioamnionitis or other maternal infections, such as urinary tract infections and perianal abscesses; 7.Fetal chromosomal abnormalities are screened abnormally;
