Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients scheduled to undergo right thoracic esophagectomy for esophageal cancer (Ivor Lewis or McKeown procedure); 2.Age >=18; 3.ASA classification I-III; 4.Preoperative ECG and Holter monitor (if available) showing sinus rhythm; 5.Chest CT scans from our hospital within one month before surgery.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.History of definite atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, or atrial tachycardia; 2.Previous congenital heart disease (such as atrial or ventricular septal defect) or history of heart surgery (like coronary artery bypass, valve replacement, etc.); 3.Severe arrhythmias needing treatment before surgery (like sick sinus syndrome, high-degree AV block, permanent pacemaker implantation, etc.); 4.Uncontrolled hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism; 5.No chest CT scan before surgery; 6.Contraindications to epidural anesthesia; 7.Patient refuses to enroll in a clinical trial.
