Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The diagnostic criteria for iron overload refer to relevant medical guidelines, e.g., the range of serum ferritin: males (200~500 µg/L), females (150~500 µg/L); 2. No mental illness and normal consciousness; 3. Being informed of this study and signing the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Those who have taken other medications (e.g., steroids, antibiotics) within four weeks before enrolling in the study; 2. Those with a history of blood transfusion, blood loss, blood donation, or surgery in the recent six months; 3. Those with iron overload-related diseases or genetic disorders (e.g., hemochromatosis, transfusion-induced iron overload); 4. Pregnant or lactating women; 5. Those with known cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, liver or kidney diseases, malignant tumors, infectious diseases, other familial genetic diseases, autoimmune diseases, or atopic diathesis.
