Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Women giving birth vaginally to a singleton baby in the cephalic presentation at >=37 weeks’ gestation; 2. aged >=20 years; 3. with an educational attainment of primary school level or above; 4. capable of reading comprehension and expressing themselves clearly; 5. having given informed consent and voluntarily participating in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. the newborn has a malformation or severe complications; 2. the mother has a severe mental illness; 3. there are severe pregnancy-related complications or comorbidities (classified as ‘orange’ or higher under the maternal pregnancy risk stratification system);
