Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.The participants were third-year undergraduate students of the Class of 2023 at Shantou University Medical College, who were in the preclinical stage. 2.The participants were students majoring in Clinical Medicine, enrolled in either the regular class or the English-medium (EMI) class. 3.Prerequisite requirements: Students had completed basic training in ultrasound skills, along with fundamental coursework in Diagnostics, the Cardiovascular System, and Physiology.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Participants who had not completed the prerequisite courses were defined as those who had either not taken or not passed the aforementioned required courses. 2.Students who did not meet the grade criteria: those who were not enrolled in the Class of 2023 or were not in their third-year stage. 3.Students who did not comply with the assessment procedures—including those who declined to take part in teaching evaluations, questionnaire surveys, or failed to complete the post-training examinations—were excluded (in accordance with routine ethical research standards).
