Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged between 18 and 80 years; 2. Patients scheduled to undergo elective major abdominal surgery under general anesthesia (definition of major abdominal surgery: intra-abdominal surgery involving the resection or anastomosis of abdominal viscera, with an operative duration >= 2 hours); 3. Meeting the diagnostic criteria for simple obesity or metabolic syndrome; 4. ASA physical status classification ?-?; 5. Voluntarily participate in this study and sign the informed consent form; 6.BMI>=28.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Presence of any of the following serious health problems: (1). Severe acute illness occurring preoperatively (e.g., severe infection, acute myocardial infarction, acute stroke); (2). Prior confirmed history of vital organ failure (e.g., chronic heart failure NYHA class ?, liver cirrhosis Child-Pugh class C, chronic renal failure CKD stage 4-5 (eGFR =4)); 2. Presence of severe mental illness, such as schizophrenia, major depressive disorder, etc., rendering the patient unable to cooperate with study data collection; 3. Pregnant or breastfeeding women; 4.Consolidate the etiologies of secondary obesity including hypothyroidism, Cushing's syndrome, drug-induced obesity, etc.; 5. Patients with preoperatively confirmed distant metastasis; 6.Estimated survival time less than 1 year; 7. Currently participating in other studies.
