Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 18 years or older; 2. Patients undergoing thoracoscopic lung surgery; 3. ASA physical status classification: I–III.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient refusal to participate; 2. BMI > 35 kg/m^2; 3. Preoperative oxygen saturation (SpO2) 400 pack-years; 5. Preexisting symptoms of muscle weakness; 6. Any pulmonary disease, such as previous lung surgery, pneumothorax, pulmonary tuberculosis, or pleural effusion; 7. Patients with anticipated difficult intubation or respiratory failure; 8. Severe cardiac conduction block, severe sinus node dysfunction, or congestive heart failure; 9. Psychiatric disorders precluding cooperation; 10. Emergency surgery; 11. Patients unsuitable for assuming the required body positions.
