Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adults aged 20 to 80; 2. Diagnosis of abnormal glucose metabolism (meeting any of the following conditions) : prediabetes, that is, impaired fasting blood glucose (6.1=7.0 or OGTT 2h>=11.1 or HbA1c>=6.5%). 3. Overweight or obesity, that is, body mass index (BMI) >=24.0 kg/m^2; Or waist circumference: 90 cm for men and 85 cm for women (central obesity standard).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with acute complications such as type 1 diabetes, special types of diabetes, and diabetic ketoacidosis; 2. Those who have adjusted their hypoglycemic regimens, used insulin pumps, undergone bariatric surgery, or undergone surgery for diabetes-related complications within the past three months; 3. Those who have a history of a low-fat/low-sugar/low-GI diet within the past three months (having deliberately followed a low-GI diet (with more than one-third of the total staple food having a GI=25g), and drug abusers; 8. Participating in other clinical trials simultaneously, or being unable to cooperate with the researcher due to mental abnormalities or cognitive impairments; 9. History of recurrent hypoglycemia: There have been >=2 severe hypoglycemic events requiring assistance from others within the past 3 months, or >=3 asymptomatic hypoglycemia events (fingertip blood glucose <3.9 mmol/L).
