Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Case Group: 1. Age between 18 and 70 years, any gender; 2. Clearly diagnosed with any of the following rheumatic diseases and meeting the corresponding international or national classification criteria: (1) RA: 2010 ACR/EULAR criteria; (2) SLE: 2019 EULAR/ACR criteria; (3) AS: 1984 revised New York criteria or 2009 ASAS criteria; (4) SSc: 2013 ACR/EULAR criteria; (5) SS: 2016 ACR/EULAR criteria; 3. Volunteers willing to participate in this study and who have signed written informed consent. Healthy Control Group: 1. Age 18-70, gender matched with the case group; 2. No history of rheumatic or other autoimmune diseases and no related clinical symptoms; 3. Voluntary participation and signed informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: All participants (both the patient group and healthy control group) should be excluded if they meet any of the following conditions: 1. Have other autoimmune diseases (such as mixed connective tissue disease, inflammatory bowel disease, psoriasis, etc.); 2. Have a recent or current infection (acute infection within the past 2 weeks, active tuberculosis or viral hepatitis, HIV positive); 3. Gastrointestinal factors: used antibiotics in the past 3 months, taken probiotics/prebiotics in the past month, history of gastrointestinal surgery (except appendix/gallbladder), history of inflammatory bowel disease; 4. History of malignant tumors (except for cured basal cell carcinoma or carcinoma in situ of the cervix); 5. Severe heart, liver, or kidney dysfunction or serious blood system diseases; 6. Pregnant or breastfeeding women; 7. Mental illness or cognitive impairment. Additional exclusion criteria for the patient group: 1. Medication interference: use of biologics/JAK inhibitors in the past 3 months; long-term high-dose glucocorticoids (prednisone > 15 mg/day for over 1 month); currently undergoing immune-enhancing therapy.
