Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Chinese adults 2 Aged 35–60 years 3 BMI > 24 kg/m^² 4 Diagnosed with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (hepatic fat =5%) by MRI-PDFF or clinical assessment 5 Willing to provide written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Viral hepatitis 2 Excessive alcohol consumption (>210 g/week for men; >140 g/week for women) 3 Use of steatogenic, anti-diabetic, weight-reducing, CYP3A4 substrate, or anticoagulant/antiplatelet drugs 4 Participation in other clinical trials 5 Presence of diabetes, hypertension, severe dyslipidemia, or other metabolic disorders 6 Pregnancy or breastfeeding 7 Metal implants incompatible with MRI or claustrophobia 8 Known allergy to plants in the Compositae family (e.g., ragweed, chrysanthemum)
