Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Pathological examination suggests rectal adenocarcinoma; 2. Female rectal cancer patients planning to undergo laparoscopic TME; 3. Body Mass Index (BMI) <= 30kg/m2; 4. The distance between the lower edge of the tumor and the anal margin is <= 10cm; 5. No distant metastasis such as lung, liver or other organ metastasis.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Preoperative comorbidities with severe underlying diseases (such as severe liver and kidney function, cardiopulmonary function, coagulation dysfunction, etc.); 2. Patients with coexisting malignant tumors in other areas; 3. Patients undergoing emergency surgery due to acute perforation, obstruction, and other reasons; 4. Patients with intraoperative tumor infiltration into surrounding organs requiring combined resection or palliative resection; 5. Patients with a history of rectal or uterine resection surgery; 6. Preoperative MRI evaluation shows invasion of the anterior wall of the rectum.
