18 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged between 18 and 65 years; 2. Adult patients with a pathologically confirmed diagnosis of papillary thyroid carcinoma who are scheduled to undergo bilateral total thyroidectomy combined with central lymph node dissection; 3. Patients who are aware of the details of this study and have voluntarily signed an informed consent form; 4. No history of head and neck surgery or radiotherapy; 5. Patients in whom a single inferior parathyroid gland is found during surgery to have poor blood supply, cannot be preserved in situ or has been inadvertently resected, and who are confirmed via parathyroid immunogold labelling to require autologous parathyroid transplantation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with organ dysfunction or who are unable to tolerate surgery; 2. Patients requiring reoperation due to recurrence in the central lymph nodes following surgery; 3. Patients who are unable to attend follow-up appointments on time or who are lost to follow-up; 4. Patients requiring postoperative radioactive iodine therapy.
