Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Children aged 6–10 years, regardless of sex or ethnicity; 2. Normal near visual acuity, uncorrected distance visual acuity < 1.0, and distance visual acuity correctable with concave lenses, with best-corrected visual acuity = 1.0 in both eyes; 3. Myopic refractive error ranging from -0.50 D to -6.00 D, with astigmatism = 1.50 D.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Children aged 10 years; 2. Presence of eyelid or skin inflammatory conditions, such as anterior blepharitis, atopic dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, rosacea, etc. 3. Presence of cicatricial lesions of the eyelid or conjunctiva, such as trachoma, ocular pemphigoid, chemical injury, thermal burn, radiation injury, etc. 4. History of ocular medication use, including drugs that may affect tear secretion and tear film stability, such as artificial tears, corticosteroids, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, etc. 5. Previous history of ophthalmic surgery, ocular trauma, or ocular burns; 6. History of systemic diseases associated with ocular surface disorders, such as rheumatoid arthritis, gout or other rheumatic immune diseases, thyroid disease, and diabetes mellitus.
