Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Inclusion criteria for the RSV group (all of the following must be met simultaneously): (1) Age at onset =24 hours; (5) Informed consent signed by the guardian. 2.Inclusion criteria for the control group (all of the following must be met simultaneously): (1) Age at onset =24 hours; (5) Informed consent signed by the guardian.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.A history of respiratory tract infection with wheezing symptoms prior to randomization; 2. A confirmed diagnosis of bronchopulmonary dysplasia; 3. Congenital anatomical airway malformations (e.g., severe laryngomalacia, tracheoesophageal fistula), cystic fibrosis, vascular ring (e.g., pulmonary artery sling), or congenital diaphragmatic hernia; 4. Congenital heart disease with hemodynamic significance; 5.Known immunodeficiency disorders or inborn errors of metabolism; 6.Severe neurological disorders (with swallowing dysfunction or risk of aspiration); 7.Confirmed co-infection with adenovirus, Ureaplasma urealyticum, or Mycoplasma species based on pathogen testing of throat swabs or bronchoalveolar lavage fluid.
