Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Children with autism: ages 3–15, gender ratio 1:1, approximately 200 participants. 2. Typically developing children: ages 3–10, gender ratio 1:1, approximately 200 participants. 3. Parents/guardians sign the informed consent form; 4. The ASD group was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder by psychiatrists. 5. Group TD consists of normally developing children who have no mental or developmental disorders after screening. 6. All the participants have a certain understanding of the rules. 7. Children with limited oral vocabulary; 8. The ability to sit at a desk and engage in learning activities; 9. Have a certain ability to search visually.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Combined with other mental disorders (such as ADHD, intellectual disability, etc.); 2. Hearing or visual impairment; 3. History of congenital or acquired brain injury including cerebral palsy; 4. Severe developmental delay that prevents participation in the study; 5. Poor behavioral control.
