Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.First-grade primary school students in the pre-myopia stage (age range: 6-7 years); 2.Both the student and their legal guardian agree to undergo cycloplegic refraction and follow-up examinations, and sign the project informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Individuals with allergies or contraindications to compound tropicamide eye drops or similar medications; 2.Those who are severely uncooperative during ophthalmic examinations and unable to maintain fixation for a certain period; 3.Individuals with organic ocular diseases or systemic diseases; 4.Individuals with a history of ocular trauma or ophthalmic surgery; 5.Individuals who have adopted myopia prevention and control measures other than eye exercises (e.g., acupuncture, massage, medication, auricular acupuncture, wearing myopia defocus glasses, or rigid gas-permeable contact lenses); 6.Individuals with a habit of wearing sunglasses outdoors for extended periods.
