Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Aged 18–20 years; (2) Full-time undergraduate students in their first to third year; (3) Normal Chinese reading and listening abilities; (4) Able to complete the VARK questionnaire; (5) No systematic meditation training in the past month (<=1 time per week); (6) Willing to participate in the study and sign the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals meeting any of the following criteria will be excluded: 1.Psychological factors: Currently receiving psychological counseling; currently receiving psychiatric treatment; diagnosed with anxiety disorder; diagnosed with depressive disorder; diagnosed with bipolar disorder; post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). 2.Medication factors: Use of anxiolytics, antidepressants, or sedative-hypnotics within the past month. 3.Physiological factors: Hearing impairment; visual impairment (inability to view images normally); neurological disorders. 4.Experience factors: More than six months of meditation experience; experience with mindfulness courses; experience with hypnosis training.
