Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Upon slit lamp examination, lens opacity was confirmed, and the diagnosis was cataract. The patient requested admission for cataract PHACO+IOL implantation surgery. 2. Age >= 40 years old. 3. Follow-up visits and relevant ophthalmological examinations were conducted. 4. Clinical information is complete. follow-up information is complete.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with other ocular diseases including traumatic cataract, glaucoma, uveitis, macular degeneration, pseudoexfoliation syndrome, ocular trauma, lens dislocation/subluxation, previous ocular surgery history, moderate to severe NPDR, PDR, and those with diabetic macular edema. 2. Patients with rupture of posterior capsule during cataract surgery. 3. Incomplete information or refusal to participate in the investigation and research.
