Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients with chronic insomnia disorder who received ultrasound-guided stellate ganglion block (SGB) treatment at the Sleep Clinic of Guangzhou First People's Hospital between November 2023 and January 2025; 2.Met the DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for chronic insomnia disorder, with a baseline Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) score >= 8; 3.Aged between 18 and 75 years; 4.Diagnosed with insomnia disorder, with pre-treatment heart rate variability (HRV) recordings indicating sympathetic hyperarousal; 5.Documented plans for medication reduction or discontinuation in medical records;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Serious somatic comorbidities (e.g., active heart disease, severe hepatic or renal impairment); 2.Diagnosed with major psychiatric disorders (e.g., schizophrenia, bipolar disorder) within the past 6 months, or current risk of suicide; 3.Active autoimmune diseases, malignant tumors, or infections; 4.Allergy to local anesthetics, coagulation disorders, or currently receiving anticoagulant therapy; 5.Pregnancy or lactation.
