Eligibility

Sex/Gender
All
Age
18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Aged 18 to 80 years; 2.Histologically or cytologically confirmed esophageal squamous cell carcinoma; 3.Scheduled to undergo surgery or to receive neoadjuvant therapy followed by surgery; 4.Able to undergo MRI, CT, and EUS examinations as required or undergo at least one of these examinations if conditions do not permit all; 5.Willing to participate in the trial and provide signed informed consent;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Non-squamous cell carcinoma histology (e.g., adenocarcinoma); 2.Cervical esophageal cancer or tumors of distal gastric origin extending to the esophagus; 3.Evidence of extensive distant metastasis, precluding the possibility of surgery (as a pathological gold standard cannot be obtained); 4.Recurrent or metastatic disease after prior esophageal cancer surgery; 5.Contraindications to CT or MRI (e.g., severe contrast allergy, implanted pacemaker, or other conditions incompatible with strong magnetic fields) or intolerance to EUS, making it impossible to complete at least one required imaging modality; 6.Non-diagnostic image quality with inability to repeat the scan;
