Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria for patients were clinically and/or dermoscopically confirmed non-segmental vitiligo diagnosed by Wood's lamp examination, specifically AV (acral vitiligo) or PPV (phototherapy platform-stage vitiligo).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria were pregnancy or lactation, personal history of skin cancer, photodermatosis, keloid or a hypertrophic scar. Besides, patients with new, spreading lesions within the preceding 1 year were excluded.
