Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Officially diagnosed with ASD by a licensed clinical psychologist or psychiatrist in accordance with DSM-5 standards, with a formal diagnosis report attached; 2. Age between 6 and 15 years old at the time of participation; 3. Currently attending a special education school in Macao; 4. Sufficient vision to use AR glasses (corrective glasses are allowed, no uncorrectable visual impairment); 5. Parents or legal guardians are able and willing to sign a written informed consent form; 6. The child himself/herself is able and willing to provide consent (applicable to those with cognitive and communication abilities).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Neurological disorders that affect visual processing (such as cortical visual impairment, photosensitive epilepsy, and currently uncontrolled epileptic seizures). 2. Having participated in other technology-mediated social skills intervention projects within the past three months. 3. The class teacher is unable to complete the assessment scale due to less than 10 hours of contact time per week. 4. Known to have severe adverse reactions to head-mounted devices or suffering from photosensitive epilepsy.
