Interventions

Dopamine group:3 mg/kg of dopamine diluted in 50 mL normal saline
Control group:Equal volume of normal saline

65 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >=65 years 2. Weight >=50 kg 3. ASA classification >=II 4. Elective non-cardiac surgery under general anesthesia (digestive, hepatobiliary, urological, ENT, orthopedic, or gynecological)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Emergency surgery 2. Uncontrolled hypertension (systolic blood pressure >150 mmHg) 3. Acute cardiovascular event within the preceding 3 months (myocardial infarction/stroke) 4. eGFR <30 mL·min?¹·1.73 m?² or long-term dialysis 5. Severe hepatic insufficiency (Child-Pugh Class C) 6. Preoperative sepsis or shock 7. Ongoing continuous norepinephrine infusion 8. Regional anesthesia sufficient to complete the surgical procedure 9. Known hypersensitivity to dopamine, ephedrine, or any protocol-related medications 10. Inability to provide informed consent
