Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age >= 18 years; Cardiac function classification (NYHA) II-IV grade; Patients scheduled for elective open-heart simple aortic valve replacement; Diagnosed with left ventricular hypertrophy: Male: Left ventricular mass index (LVMI) > 115 g/m². Female: (LVMI) > 95 g/m².

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age < 18 years; Emergency surgery; Pregnant or lactating women; Patients with severe liver or kidney dysfunction; Patients with unstable preoperative hemodynamics (such as cardiogenic shock); Patients allergic or contraindicated to beta-blockers (such as severe bradycardia, high atrioventricular block, cardiogenic shock, acute asthma attack); Patients undergoing other cardiac surgeries at the same time; Patients undergoing a second aortic valve replacement; Patients who agree to other interventional trials; Patients that the researchers consider to have any other conditions unsuitable for participation in this study.
