Interventions

Intervention group:Routine inpatient treatment + VR intervention (cue exposure, aversion therapy, mindfulness relaxation
20 min/day for 1 week, 7 sessions).
Control group:Routine inpatient treatment

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age: 12-18 years old; 2. Meets the diagnostic criteria for Internet Gaming Disorder and depressive episode or generalized anxiety disorder as stipulated in ICD-11; 3. The simplified Internet Gaming Disorder Scale (IGDS9-SF) score is >= 32 and the Internet Addiction Test (IAT) score is >= 50; 4. Can cooperate to complete the assessment and VR intervention; 5. Both the subjects and their guardians have signed the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Comorbid with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder manic episodes, mental retardation and other severe mental disorders; 2. Comorbid with substance dependence such as nicotine and alcohol, as well as other behavioral addictions except for game addiction; 3. With a history of epilepsy and other serious physical diseases; 4. High risk of severe motion sickness or VR discomfort; 5. Existence of severe visual and auditory impairments.
