Overweight and Obesity

Interventions

Experimental Group A:Participants undergo an mHealth-based exercise intervention.
Experimental Group B:Participants underwent an in-person supervised exercise intervention.
Control Group:Participants were instructed to maintain their habitual lifestyle and physical activity levels, without engaging in any additional structured exercise intervention.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age range: 8-12 years old, gender not restricted, school-age children; 2. Meets the overweight or obesity thresholds for the corresponding age and gender as specified in the "Screening for Overweight and Obesity in School-Age Children and Adolescents" document; 3. Has no severe cardiovascular diseases, respiratory system diseases or other serious chronic diseases; 4. The child has a basic willingness to cooperate, and their legal guardian fully understands the research process, potential risks and benefits, and voluntarily signs the written "Informed Consent Form".

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. There are contraindications for exercise or severe organic diseases: clinically diagnosed with severe cardiovascular diseases (such as congenital heart disease, sequelae of myocarditis, etc., or endocrine system diseases); 2. There are injuries to the bones and joints or impairments in movement functions: acute injuries to the lower limb skeletal muscle system, chronic deformities or lesions (such as severe meniscus injury of the knee joint, flat feet causing severe pain, etc.), which prevent the ability to bear moderate to high-intensity weight-bearing or jumping-type physical activities; 3. Severe impairment of vision, hearing or the nervous system: severe visual or hearing defects or movement coordination disorders caused by the nervous system, unable to safely perform the action prescriptions on smartphone apps or follow the coach's commands; 4. Using drugs that affect metabolism; 5. Existence of severe mental, psychological or cognitive impairments: diagnosed with severe psychological or mental disorders, unable to understand the intervention requirements or complete the baseline cognitive tests.
