Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Meets the diagnostic criteria for panic disorder according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5). 2. No anti-anxiety treatment received; 3. Dextromanuality; 4. Good binocular vision (or corrected vision) and bilateral hearing; 5. Educational level at least equivalent to primary school; 6. Sign the informed consent form; 7. The age requirement is 18 to 60 years old.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. History of other mental disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, etc.; 2. History of severe neurological disorders (e.g., stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease) or traumatic brain injury; 3. History of major somatic diseases (e.g., hyperthyroidism, myocardial infarction, metastatic tumors, etc.); 4. History of substance abuse (e.g., drugs, alcohol, or other psychoactive substances); 5. History of benzodiazepine use; 6. Contraindications for MRI examination (e.g., claustrophobia, presence of metal objects in the body); 7. Has previously undergone electroconvulsive therapy; 8. Contraindications for transcranial magnetic stimulation (patients with metallic foreign bodies in the skull, cardiac pacemakers or cardiac stents, cochlear implants, significantly elevated intracranial pressure, risk of damage to metals or electronic devices near the stimulation coil, or those with epilepsy or a family history of epilepsy). 9. Pregnant and breastfeeding women.
