Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. To undergo either endoscopic thyroid surgery or traditional open surgery; 2. No restrictions on age or gender; 3. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) classification of grade I or II; 4. Body mass index (BMI) ranging from 18 to 30 kg/m^2; 5. Normal communication and comprehension ability.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Recently, there have been symptoms such as upper respiratory tract infection, asthma, hoarseness, and difficulty in swallowing; 2. Other ventilation devices such as laryngeal masks were used; 3. There were previously severe cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases; 4. Before the operation, steroid hormones or analgesic drugs were administered.
