Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with a confirmed diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) (including seropositive or seronegative RA) or osteoarthritis (OA), or volunteers who meet the criteria for healthy controls. 2. Patients currently have the ability to live independently. 3. Seropositive RA: meets the 2010 ACR/EULAR classification criteria for RA, with ACPA and/or RF positive. 4. Seronegative RA: meets the 2010 ACR/EULAR classification criteria for RA, with both ACPA and RF negative. 5. OA group: meets the ACR classification criteria for knee osteoarthritis; primary knee OA; no history of autoimmune disease and no positive autoantibodies. 6. Healthy controls: age- and sex-matched; no symptoms of arthritis, no history of autoimmune disease, and no positive autoantibodies. 7. Patients or their family members agree to sign the informed consent form. 8. Aged 18-75 years, all genders welcome.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Individuals who have used antibiotics or probiotic preparations within the past 3 months. 2. Those with inflammatory bowel disease, gastrointestinal tumors, or other serious gastrointestinal diseases. 3. Those with dysfunction of major organs such as the heart, liver, or kidneys. 4. Pregnant or breastfeeding women. 5. Those with skin infection at the joint puncture site or coagulation disorders. 6. For the OA group, individuals with autoimmune diseases or positive for related autoantibodies are additionally excluded.
