Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients were included if they met the following criteria: clinical diagnosis of NVG; 2. Prior panretinal photocoagulation with significant regression or disappearance of iris neovascularization; 3. Previous phacoemulsification with IOL implantation; 4. Uncontrolled IOP (>21 mmHg) on maximally tolerated medical therapy requiring posterior chamber glaucoma valve implantation; 5. Complete follow-up data for at least 12 months.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients were excluded if they had any of the following: active ocular infection, severe corneal opacity, or posterior segment lesions requiring urgent management; 2. A history of prior glaucoma surgery; 3. Severe corneal disease or active vitreoretinal lesions.
