Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 18 years; 2.Invasive mechanical ventilation duration > 24 hours; 3.Sputum retention requiring suctioning >= 2 times per day; 4. Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale (RASS) score between -4 and -1; 5. Critical Care Pain Observation Tool (CPOT) score between 0 and 1.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Incomplete EIT monitoring data or incomplete medical records; 2. Pregnancy; 3. Hemodynamic instability; 4. Spinal or pelvic disorders, or special positioning requirements due to orthopedic surgery; 5. Presence of dressings or skin breakdown at the electrode belt placement site; 6. Presence of a permanent or temporary pacemaker or implantable cardioverter-defibrillator.
