Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Part I: Development of an Evidence-Based Practice Protocol for Perioperative Nutrition Management in Esophageal Cancer Patient Inclusion Criteria: (1) Age >=18 years, with a pathologically confirmed diagnosis of esophageal malignancy and scheduled to undergo radical esophagectomy; (2) No cognitive impairment; (3) Willing to voluntarily participate in this study. 2. Part II: Application and Effect Evaluation of the Evidence-Based Practice Protocol for Perioperative Esophageal Cancer Care Patient Inclusion Criteria: (1) Patients undergoing esophageal cancer surgery; (2) No cognitive impairment; (3) Willing to voluntarily participate in this study. Family Caregiver Inclusion Criteria: (1) Age >=18 years; (2) Willing to voluntarily participate in this study. Healthcare Professional Inclusion Criteria: (1) Healthcare professionals (physicians or nurses) who have been engaged in the treatment or care of esophageal cancer for six months or longer; (2) Willing to voluntarily participate in this study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Part I: Development of an Evidence-Based Practice Protocol for Perioperative Nutrition Management in Esophageal Cancer Patient Exclusion Criteria: (1) Unaware of their own diagnosis; (2) Those with functional or organic mental disorders. 2. Part II: Application and Effect Evaluation of the Evidence-Based Practice Protocol for Perioperative Esophageal Cancer Care Patient Exclusion Criteria: (1) Unaware of their own diagnosis; (2) Patients with severe heart disease; (3) Patients who develop severe postoperative complications and are admitted to the ICU; (4) Patients who are directly admitted to the ICU after surgery and return to the general ward only after the second postoperative day. Healthcare Professional Exclusion Criteria: (1) Personnel who have not obtained a clinical practice qualification certificate; (2) External visiting trainees.
