18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age: 18–80 years, HbA1c: 8.0%–13.0%, and time since onset of cerebral infarction = 48 hours.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Undergone intravenous thrombolysis; 2. Type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) or secondary diabetes; 3. Acute conditions such as diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) or heart failure; 4. Urinary tract infection; 5. Severe psychological or cognitive impairments; 6. Severe hepatic or renal insufficiency (eGFR 3 times the upper limit of normal); 7. Moderate or severe anemia; 8. Immune system disorders; 9. Long-term use of corticosteroids; 10. Pregnant or lactating women; 11. Hospital stays < 7 days, and patients unable to attend follow-up visits.
