Complete clinical data available, including gender, age, blood pressure, serum creatinine, 24-hour urine protein, etc. Inclusion criteria for healthy controls: 1. Normal hemoglobin, liver function, kidney function, electrolytes, urine test, and stool test; 2. No hypertension, diabetes, obesity, liver disease, digestive system disease, or tumors; 3. Negative for infectious diseases. Inclusion criteria for patients needing total nephrectomy due to kidney tumor: 1. Has a malignant kidney tumor requiring unilateral nephrectomy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria for IgAN patients: 1. Already started relevant medication or began hemodialysis/peritoneal dialysis; 2. Concurrent liver disease, digestive system disease, diabetes, tumors, etc.; 3. Positive for infectious diseases; 4. Presence of diseases like systemic lupus erythematosus, Henoch-Schönlein purpura nephritis, chronic liver disease, etc., that cause secondary IgA mesangial deposition. Exclusion criteria for patients needing total nephrectomy due to kidney tumor: 1. Concurrent chronic kidney disease; 2. Positive for infectious diseases.
